Beady Eye Gig 21/11/13 - Hammersmith Apollo

Beady eye gig -

I've never been a massive beady eye fan but being bought up on oasis means when there's a chance to see a Gallagher we take it.

I was surrounded by a sea of parkas, desert boots, side burns and of course the mighty Pretty Green polos. 

As soon as the lights went down the manly screams of 'Liam' were echoing around the apollo. The atmosphere was mental even in the seated area surrounded by the older mod generation. The songs from the new(ish) album BE got a very good reception but hearing live forever live was magical. Everyone and I mean everyone was up on their feet screaming the lyrics. There was that feeling you get when a song that means so much is being sung around you by people who it means just as much too.As Liam walked around the stage the audience followed him in awe. The interaction with the audience included some muffled words into the microphone before  the intro for cigarettes and alcohol came on and from that moment the gig was made for me. I mean come on hearing a song live I've been listening to for what like 13 years was truly amazing. Beady Eye really know how to play an amazing gig and If I could I would 100 percent see them again.
